I worked for many years as a dressmaker and had my own sewing business. I enjoy researching historical costume and making it in miniature for dolls to wear. All my clothing items are handmade by me to a high standard but please take care with them-they are not mass produced so can be quite delicate. If they have snap fasteners always secure one side with your nail before unsnapping. If there are ribbon ties secure with a knock and tie a bow, then I often pin the bow flat to the back of the garment so that it cannot be seen. The clothing will wash but delicate items may shrink so please hand wash where possible.
